We are aware of our responsibility towards our employees, because their drive has taken us to where we are today. We therefore support them in the areas of education and childcare, for example, through the construction of company homes and with healthcare offers.
We continuously improve the production processes in our companies and design them to be as sustainable as possible. The most important measures include: Energy efficiency with the aid of state-of-the-art plant and equipment, meticulous monitoring of our water consumption, waste water recycling, waste product recycling.
By recovering heat internally, we are making an important contribution to environmental protection. The waste heat from the production processes is utilised to heat our facilities. It also supplies numerous public buildings in Bludenz with heating via a district heating grid.
Our power station with four hydropower plants produces the energy for all Getzner companies. By generating electricity in this way, we are making an important contribution to environmental and climate protection.
We believe in acting of your own accord and taking responsibility. The establishment of a works fire brigade which, for the most part, does not depend on the public water supply allows Getzner Textil to limit damages to the site to a minimum and also to support the Bludenz fire brigade, when necessary.
Our senior managers are voluntary members of various external interest and advisory committees. The local economy, policy-makers and public therefore also benefit from their expertise.
We are fully aware of our ethical responsibilities. It is therefore particularly important to us to support development cooperation projects, like the building of schools and the financing of ambulances.
