The Getzner Group consists of two independent companies with shared roots. Getzner Textil became a separate company in 1980; Getzner Werkstoffe was established in 1969.
Getzner Textil is the leading manufacturer of sophisticated African dressmaking damasks and is one of the most important and experienced suppliers of fashion fabrics for shirts, blouses and corporate fashion. The business unit Technics and Mobility develops innovative fabrics for a wide range of different requirements. They are used for protective personal equipment, workwear, sports equipment, industrial applications or in the automotive area, for example.
Getzner Werkstoffe is a leading specialist for individual solutions in the field of vibration and shock protection. The high-tech materials for the insulation and isolation of vibrations and structure-borne noise originate from our own research, are produced in-house and are used in railway superstructures, for the elastic bedding of buildings and the elastic bearing of machines, and as structural components.
The Getzner power station with its four power plants is not an independent business but belongs to the Getzner, Mutter & Cie. holding company.
